Due to popular demand, Story Time is now a drop-in program!
To accommodate for a larger number of guests, it will be held in the Youth Area (near the toys and puzzles) instead of in the
Youth Programming Room.
Here's a fun and easy way to find some new books your children will love even when you don't have time to browse the shelves yourself!
Just fill out this form. Librarians will select 5 books for you based on what you tell us on the form, and place them on the hold shelf for pickup. You can select up to three topics or themes.
Mary Spencer will demonstrate how to make crepes and will instruct each individual how to make their own. Fillings and toppings will be provided. This event is for teens in grades 7 through 12 and registration is required.
Our group meets each month for a lively discussion about a different book. You do not need to have read the book to join us.

Book Match

Submit a Book Match form found here. More detailed responses will result in better recommendations. After finishing the form expect to receive your custom reading list within 10 business days.
The Library Commission meets the second Monday of each month, August through May in Erin Meeting Room. Agendas and meeting minutes are located on the Library’s website.
Tax Day is Tuesday, April 18, 2023. As in the past, the IRS and the State of Michigan each have sent us basic instruction booklets and tax forms to distribute for free. You can find these on the table next to the copy machine.
If you require additional forms or schedules not found on the table, we can print them out for you. Please note that we can print out a small number of tax forms and schedules for you for free.
However, if you need booklets or a large quantity of forms printed, our usual fee of 20 cents per page will apply.
Librarians are not tax specialists. We cannot provide advice, recommend which forms to fill out, etc.
Food Drive Donation Box
We currently have a food collection box, to help restock the Live Rite food pantry, near the circulation desk. You are welcome to leave donations of unopened, non-perishable food items in the box at any time.
Donations of perishable food items can be made to Live Rite directly. They are located at 27700 Gratiot Avenue, in the old Roseville Municipal Building.
The Friends of the Library is a group of people who love their library. Most are Roseville residents or former residents. The group is overseen by a board of four officers and a trustee who meet each quarter to discuss ways to support their library. If you want to volunteer for your public library, raise money for services, equipment, materials and programs not normally included in the annual budget and meet others who love their library, please consider joining the Friends. More information is available on the Friends page of the Library’s website or stop at the circulation desk in the Library.

All prices are very low and all money from the sales go directly to the Friends of the Library, who use it to support the Library in a variety of ways. Next time you're in the Library, take a look at what's for sale. You never know what you'll find!
If you would like to donate your gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles to the Friends, you can drop them off at the Library whenever we are open. Please see this flyer for a better idea of the types of items we can accept and those we cannot.
Continuing Friends Fundraising Program
By shopping at Kroger, donations are sent to the Roseville Friends of the Library without adding a penny to your purchases. Please see the Friends page of the Library’s website or ask at the circulation desk in the Library for more information on registering for this great fund raiser.
