Curbside Service continues upon request. 
These are our regular, and expected, hours of operation. It is possible that concerns related to COVID-19 or low staffing may result in a change to hours at a later date. We will always post hours changes in the building and online. 

Earn points by reading and by completing other "challenges".
1,000 points gets you in the grand prize drawing. 

Or track your progress with a paper log, which can be picked up at the Library, beginning Friday, June 16. All logs must be returned by Friday, July 28 to be entered in the prize drawing.

Get ready to carry all of your summer fun in style as you decorate a tote bag in this event. This event is for all ages but adult supervision will be required for any children participating. 

The class provides a dynamic calorie-burning form of workout for people of all fitness levels and age groups.

Come learn the history and get your feet in on the action of
African dances. No registration required

Children will make noodles and then have a taste of pasta made by Miss Cathy. This program is for children ages 5-12 years old. 

Summer Reading Challenge participants can
earn points toward their goal each week.

Learn about the stories behind the constellations by acting out the
rescue of the Princess Andromeda. Then we will check out seasonal constellations and see what’s up tonight by using the Metropark’s inflatable CUBEX planetarium. This program is for children ages 5-12 years old. You must be a Roseville Library cardholder to register. 

Book Bundles Here's a fun and easy way to find some new books your children will love even when you don't have time to browse the shelves yourself!  Just fill out this form.

Librarians will select 5 books for you based on what you tell us on the form, and place them on the hold shelf for pickup. You can select up to three topics or themes.

Need service hours? You can make cat and dog blankets and toys for the local animal rescue group, the Macomb County Animal Shelter, at the library and get credit for volunteering for that organizations. 

We’ll have fun seeing who can build the tallest tower and shouting TIMBER when the book stacks fall. We’ll also work in teams to make book stacks into various shapes such as trees and bridges.

Tuesday, June 20 at 6 PM The Roseville Historical and Genealogical Society presents a program at the Library on a monthly basis. This month, Paul Vachon will be here to discuss his book Detroit: An Illustrated Timeline.

Walk With Us In Roseville's
Memorial Day Parade!

Library staff will be walking in this year's Memorial Day parade, and we are inviting friends, family, and anyone who loves and supports the Library to join us. 

• Staging for parade participants will begin at 9:00 AM in the North Lot of Roseville High School off Normal St. Please park on the West side of the lot.
  

• The parade will begin as close to 10:00 AM as possible. The parade route will start on Normal, turn east onto Common toward Gratiot, and end in the Roseville Police Department parking lot.
  

• The memorial ceremony will be held on the Plaza outside the Main Entrance to City Hall immediately after the parade concludes.

The doors connecting the Library to City Hall have been reopened.

You can now use this entrance/exit
Mondays through Fridays from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Friends of the Library is a group of people who love their library. Most are Roseville residents or former residents. The group is overseen by a board of four officers and a trustee who meet each quarter to discuss ways to support their library. If you want to volunteer for your public library, raise money for services, equipment, materials and programs not normally included in the annual budget and meet others who love their library, please consider joining the Friends. More information is available on the Friends page of the Library’s website or stop at the circulation desk in the Library.

Friends Used Book Sale

The Friends Used Book Sale is open every day the Library is open. Please check out the sale for great deals on used books, DVDs, CDs, and puzzles. This is a great way to support the Friends and the Library too.

The Used Book Sale has been very successful since opening in its current form earlier this year. Unfortunately, the number of donated items coming in has not kept pace with those being sold, and some of the shelves are starting to look a little bare. 

If you would like to donate your gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles to the Friends, you can drop them off at the Library whenever we are open. Click here to see of a list of donations that the Library accepts.

Continuing Friends Fundraising Program
